Public Health Technical Advisory Board
The Public Health Technical Advisory Board (PHTAB) was established by County Resolution No. 2020-65 on November 9, 2020.
The PHTAB is made up of one representative of the following entities:
- Stormont Vail Health
- University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus
- Valeo Behavioral Health
- GraceMed
- At-Large: A Physician who resides and/or practices within Shawnee County and is appointed by the Shawnee County Board of Health
The PHTAB's purpose is to help advise the Local Health Officer, the Health Department, and the Board of Health on public health issues, as well as assist to the Board of County Commissioners in the recruitment and selection of new Local Health Officers. The PHTAB meets at a minimum on a quarterly basis and/or more frequently as needed.
All Board meetings are currently being held virtually via Zoom.
